A Royal Visit to Battersea Power Station: A Day to Remember
On Thursday, 12th December, Battersea Power Station played host to a truly memorable event, welcoming two very distinguished guests.
King Charles III graced the iconic venue with his presence, creating a moment of celebration and excitement. His arrival was marked by the harmonious voices of a choir, setting a festive tone as he stepped into Turbine Hall A. Inside, the King explored the Curated Makers Christmas Market, engaging warmly with the public and soaking up the holiday spirit.
The day became even more notable with the presence of Apple CEO Tim Cook, who joined the King during a visit to Apple’s headquarters within the power station. Together, they interacted with guests, adding to the significance of the occasion.
The visit concluded with a delightful touch of creativity and community spirit. King Charles unveiled children’s Christmas drawings, which were beautifully projected onto the power station, adding a festive glow to the historic building.
