As the curtain falls on another memorable football season, everyone at Wise Security would like to thank our outstanding teams for their professionalism, dedication and commitment throughout the 2025/26 campaign.

From the opening weekend in August to the final whistle of the season, our staff have proudly supported matchdays across some of the country’s most iconic football venues, helping to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for players, officials and supporters alike.

This season has been one to remember for many of our partner clubs.

Crystal Palace made history by lifting the UEFA Conference League, delivering an unforgettable European triumph and giving their supporters a season they will never forget. It has been a privilege for our teams to play a part in the matchday operation at Selhurst Park throughout such a landmark campaign.

Brighton & Hove Albion celebrated another landmark achievement by qualifying for European football for only the second time in the club’s history. It has been a fantastic season for the Seagulls, and Wise Security has been proud to support every home fixture at the Amex Stadium as part of another memorable campaign.

At Fulham FC, another successful Premier League season at Craven Cottage saw our long-standing partnership continue to go from strength to strength. Every matchday has showcased the dedication of our teams, who consistently deliver the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Over at West Ham United, our teams have once again played an important role throughout a busy season at London Stadium. From Premier League fixtures to cup competitions, our staff have remained committed to delivering professional security operations at every event.

Meanwhile, Millwall FC enjoyed an outstanding Championship campaign, narrowly missing out on promotion after falling just short in the play-offs. Despite the disappointment, it was another fantastic season at The Den, and our teams were proud to support the club and its supporters every step of the way.

It has also been another incredible year at Wembley Stadium, where our teams have proudly supported some of the biggest occasions in the football calendar. From international fixtures to showpiece finals under the famous arch, our staff have once again played a key role in delivering safe, enjoyable and memorable experiences for tens of thousands of supporters. Being part of these iconic occasions is something we are immensely proud of, and we look forward to returning for many more unforgettable moments next season.

Across hundreds of fixtures, our staff have worked tirelessly behind the scenes in a wide variety of roles, including front-of-house operations, hospitality, response teams, crowd safety and spectator management. Their professionalism, teamwork and commitment continue to be the foundation of everything we do.

We would like to thank all of our clients, venue partners and every member of the Wise Security family for another fantastic football season. Your hard work and dedication have helped make every matchday a success.

After 11 action-packed Monday nights, Baller League Season 3 has officially come to a close, and we are incredibly proud to have been part of one of the UK’s most exciting and innovative sporting events.

Hosted at the iconic Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Baller League continued to capture the attention of football fans with its fast-paced format, electric atmosphere and star-studded line-up of players, managers and special guests. Every week brought something different, making each event a unique experience for everyone involved.

Throughout the entire 11-week season, Wise Security provided a comprehensive security operation, working closely with our clients and event partners to help deliver a safe, secure and enjoyable experience for all.

Our teams were deployed across a wide range of operational areas, including:

Baller League has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting additions to the sporting calendar, and it has been a privilege for Wise Security to support its continued growth at Copper Box Arena.

Season 2 of Baller League has made its triumphant return to the Copper Box Arena, bringing 12 weeks of high-energy football action.

The league features 12 teams, managed by a dynamic mix of ex-football professionals, YouTube stars, and A-list celebrities, all competing to be crowned the ultimate Baller. With its unique blend of street football, competitive gameplay, ex-Premier League talent, and unpredictable rules and twists, Baller League delivers an electrifying experience week after week.

As the incumbent Security and Stewarding partner at the Copper Box Arena, Wise Security plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of every matchday. Our responsibilities include rigorous security checks and talent management—essential when welcoming high-profile names such as Idris Elba, Maya Jama, John Terry, KSI, and many more.

Matches take place every Monday, with Matchday 11 marking the final showdown at the Copper Box Arena on January 5th.

With 5 Premier League football clubs under our wing – One quarter of Premier League teams are supported by Wise Security. Whilst we are the primary supplier of all Stewards and SIA Door Supervisors to Millwall.

Working across this wide range of high-level stadia and events allows our team on the ground to gain valuable knowledge of working at high profile events, which is often translated into our work at other events, no matter how big or small.

Our latest club, Crystal Palace, is a welcome addition to our repertoire, with the club using our large staffing pool to assist with matchday operations at Selhurst Park.

Like Crystal Palace, our operations at Brighton and Fulham centre around managing the away supporters who travel to these amazing venues, Craven Cottage and the Amex Arena. This further allows our team to gain knowledge and experience of working with different fan bases across the country.

Our pitch team at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium are often highly praised, handling difficult situations with professionalism and respect – this was highlighted when a Just Stop Oil protest was successfully deterred at the ground last season.

Finally, our team are always smartly dressed at the London Stadium, looking after all Hospitality areas for West Ham.

And with Brighton and West Ham all enduring success in European competition, we even have our own European matches on the occasional Thursday night.

Wise Security is a powerhouse in the Football stewarding industry, and with every season that passes our experience and knowledge increases. We look forward to successful seasons for all of our teams both on and off the pitch.

The above does not even scratch the surface of the amazing experiences we have been a part of. Football is always a major draw for events, and this is the same for 2022. Wise Security assisted with over 140 Football matches, ranging from UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Championship and various Domestic Cup fixtures.

Notably we also supplied staff to Wembley Stadium on 35 occasions (all events at Wembley), including England’s epic Women’s UEFA European Championship victory, as well as 6 nights of Coldplay at the Summertime Ball.

The numbers don’t lie when it comes to how busy we have been, Wise Security have had over 35,000 staffing deployments, an incredible achievement bouncing back from COVID 19. That means on average, Wise Security had nearly 100 staff deployed every day.

2022’s most unique event was unfortunately a very sombre occasion. Following the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II, Wise Security were contracted to assist with Operation Bridges, a security plan that would take place on the passing of the Head of State.

Specifically, Wise Security played a major role in Operation Feather, this was the management of “The Queue”. Many of you will have seen the queue that culminated at the Victoria Tower Gardens, where a 3km Disney Queue (or “The Snake as it was dubbed by many”) traversed through the gardens on the final approach to Westminster Palace.

It was a great honour for Wise Security and all of our team to assist at such a historic event.

Looking back on 2022, we at Wise Security are proud of what we have achieved and are looking forward to an even bigger and better 2023. Bring it on!

With fixtures being held across many famous stadiums, such as Brentford Community Stadium, Manchester City Academy Stadium, Stadium MK, New York Stadium, Bramall Lane, Old Trafford and Leigh Sports Village, Wise Security provided assistance to high profile fixtures at the below stadiums for this tournament.

Wise Security Services has an ongoing relationship with Brighton and Hove Albion, with the team delivering for all their home Premier League fixtures throughout the football season, this means Wise Security was in the perfect position to assist the Seagulls with delivering England v Norway and the first Quarter Final of the tournament.

Wise Security were asked to assist England’s “away” fixture against Northern Ireland at St Mary’s thanks to their strong reputation in the industry. Despite a slight set back of a broken-down coach on the M3, Wise Security successfully assisted in the safe operations for this fixture where England came out 5-0 winners.

The EUFA Women’s EURO 2022 final was hosted by Wembley Stadium and saw England take on “the old enemy” Germany, on July 31^st. As a regular supplier to Wembley Stadium, Wise Security stepped in to assist on this historic day. As everyone will know, England came out eventual winners after extra time with a 2-1 win.

Across all venues, Wise Security supplied Accredited, Spectator Safety trained Stewards and SIA Door Supervisors to assist with everything from Crowd Management, Queue Management, Search Procedures, Response Teams and much more. It was a great honour for Wise Security to be heavily involved from start to finish in England’s successful tournament.

The year started off with high hopes, a sold out Carabao Cup final between Aston Villa and Manchester City with the Sky Blues emerging victorious. This was a day that we would normally look back on as “just another Wembley event”, it went by with no issues. We were at the stadium in our “normal” capacity, checking tickets, guiding new and old fans to their seats, managing incidents and all awe struck by the sound of 90,000 fans cheering their team on. Now we look back upon this game as the only spectator event that took place at Wembley Stadium in 2020.

After the first lockdown, Wembley have paid host to 15 sporting events, all with no fans to witness their teams triumph under the famous arch or commiserate what could have been. From the likes of FA Cup Finals, England Internationals to Play Off Finals, all were played with an eerie silence, and just the sound of coaches barking orders from the touchline.

During this time, we have been fortunate enough to be one of a select few companies to help assist the National Stadium with their Behind Closed Doors fixtures amongst the COVID-19 pandemic. Our roles have changed but our spirit and drive never diminished, we used to welcome thousands of fans into seats, now it is a few hundred from media and select club personnel. Our roles over this time included:

• Accreditation Management
• One Way System Guidance
• Media and Club Hospitality
• Security Checks
• COVID-19 Mitigation

But even with the change in scenery, we always strived to perform to our high expectations. After this year of unusual events, one Senior Wembley Official had this to say “Just a big thank you to the team from us, Dan and Shelby (company reps over this time) were great and very supportive so please do pass on our thanks.”

With a long term contract secured earlier in the year, we look forward to working at Wembley for many years to come. There are many stories around the reintroduction of fans to sporting events, as well as promise of a vaccine in the near future. We hope this will mean our return for 2021 will include fans for us to all look after and share the experience of being at Wembley Stadium.

Millwall have been our longest serving client that we have been working alongside with since 2007, the last 13 years have seen many changes from personnel, to what league Millwall are playing in! But throughout that, Wise Security has been at the helm of supporting the Stewarding, Security and Hospitality at The Den.

Our committed team have earned a long term contract extension that will see Wise Security working alongside Millwall well into the 20’s. We cannot wait to continue our relationship with the Lions, and support their push to for a Premier League position.

Twickenham Stadium, the home of English Rugby, has been a client of ours since 2008, we have supported Twickenham with various events over the years, including Rugby (obviously!), NFL, Concerts and much more.

Twickenham has undertaken a big project to improve the stadium with various extensions and refurbishments, these of which are propelling an already world class venue to even greater heights.

We cannot wait to continue their push in bringing in bigger and better events in supporting their stewarding and security operation.

Wembley Stadium opened in 2007, with Wise Security joining the team in… Since then, Wise Security has been ever present in assisting the stadiums Stewarding and Security operations on all matchdays.

Wembley Stadium plays host to an incredible variety of events, being the home of English football with England fixtures, as well as various cup finals including the FA Cup final held there. Wembley will also host the Euro 2021 Semi Finals and Final, which we look forward to seeing some exciting games!

Wembley also hosts events such as NFL, Boxing, Rugby, Concerts and much more that we have been involved in since becoming a part of the team.

Our continued support at Wembley Stadium will help cement our place as a premier stewarding and security specialist for events in the UK, and we cannot wait to continue this relationship.

Here at Wise Security, we was in full flow preparing for another busy weekend of football and sports events to manage. In fact, many were prepared and on route to a London derby  between Fulham FC and Brentford FC.

This was the day when the football stopped in the UK, all Premier League and English Football League fixtures were postponed, a truly harrowing day for football fans! But none more so to an industry that built itself around football and sporting events. Fast forward three somewhat unusual months to say the least, and we found ourselves back at football, albeit to a much different football than we are used to.

Gone were the crowds of thousands, cheering, screaming, shouting with passion for their team. Gone were highs and lows all accompanied with following your favourite football team. Gone were the opportunities for many people to continue to attend their favourite pastime.

However, thanks to the earned trust we had with many of our clients, we were fortunate enough to support with staff for Behind Closed Doors fixtures, working at Fulham’s Craven Cottage, West Ham’s London Stadium, and the home of English football, Wembley Stadium.

These venues have all come with unique challenges and vastly different roles and responsibilities that we have had to get used to. We have been adhering to COVID regulations as well as helping the venues in enforcing these new rules and regulations. This includes strict security checks on entry to all stadiums, social distancing enforcement, one way system guidance, and ensuring all attendees are wearing the correct PPE.

Daniel Frost, our Operations Manager, has had a hand in assisting all three of the venues we have been supporting, he had this to say, “These fast few months have been surreal, football isn’t the same without the crowd! However, we have been fortunate to be able to assist these prestigious venues with their operations and have done so with flying colours. We look forward to continuing this relationship and cannot wait for fans to come back.”

Whilst Behind Closed Door Fixtures have become a “new normal” we will continue to support Fulham FC, West Ham United FC and Wembley Stadium with their operations during these uncertain times, and look forward to the return of fans so we can expand our operation back to what we all want, the real normal.
