England Women Win EURO 2022

The UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 took place from July 6^th, through the month until the final on July 31^st. England were selected as the host nation for one of the biggest Women’s football tournaments in its history.

With fixtures being held across many famous stadiums, such as Brentford Community Stadium, Manchester City Academy Stadium, Stadium MK, New York Stadium, Bramall Lane, Old Trafford and Leigh Sports Village, Wise Security provided assistance to high profile fixtures at the below stadiums for this tournament.

• Brighton & Hove Community Stadium (Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club)
• St Mary’s Stadium (Southampton Football Club)
• Wembley Stadium

Wise Security Services has an ongoing relationship with Brighton and Hove Albion, with the team delivering for all their home Premier League fixtures throughout the football season, this means Wise Security was in the perfect position to assist the Seagulls with delivering England v Norway and the first Quarter Final of the tournament.

Wise Security were asked to assist England’s “away” fixture against Northern Ireland at St Mary’s thanks to their strong reputation in the industry. Despite a slight set back of a broken-down coach on the M3, Wise Security successfully assisted in the safe operations for this fixture where England came out 5-0 winners.

The EUFA Women’s EURO 2022 final was hosted by Wembley Stadium and saw England take on “the old enemy” Germany, on July 31^st. As a regular supplier to Wembley Stadium, Wise Security stepped in to assist on this historic day. As everyone will know, England came out eventual winners after extra time with a 2-1 win.

Across all venues, Wise Security supplied Accredited, Spectator Safety trained Stewards and SIA Door Supervisors to assist with everything from Crowd Management, Queue Management, Search Procedures, Response Teams and much more. It was a great honour for Wise Security to be heavily involved from start to finish in England’s successful tournament.
