Royal Ascot – Another Prestigious Five Days

As the Summer of 2024 rolls through, once again Wise Security oversaw a large portal of Royal Ascot, at the Ascot Racecourse.

With every passing year, Royal Ascot as an event gets bigger and more prestigious, such so that you cannot believe it will outdo itself the following year. Yet here we are post 2024, and once again it outdoes itself.

Royal Ascot is one of the most prestigious horse racing events in the world, five days of world class horse racing, in front of the royal family of the United Kingdom, and thousands of adoring fans.

This year, Wise Security stepped up and oversaw their biggest deployment at the marvellous event. Wise Security were responsible for:

• All entry to the Windsor Enclosure
• All bars, VIP and Stage areas in the Windsor Enclosure.
• Crowd Management in and around the Windsor Enclosure.
• Track Protection, from the Windsor Enclosure, through the Queen Anne Enclosure all the way to the finishing post, in the Royal Enclosure.
• Trackside duties in the Queen Anne and Royal Enclosure.
• Dress Code Compliance in the Royal Enclosure.
• Accreditation checks at prestigious upgrade areas in the Home Straight.

And many more minute details across the site that all add up to the incredible event.

With such a large deployment, we are thankful to our incredible team who worked long hours at Ascot Racecourse to ensure all went well for all the racegoers. With such a vast area, this comes with different responsibilities and roles to carry out.

On one end, our team working in the Royal Enclosure were dazzled by the fabulous frocks and top hats for the invited guests, moving down towards the near festival like atmosphere in the Windsor Enclosure, with DJs like Dermot O’Leary blasting out music at the Saddle Stage. And of course, everything in between.

Royal Ascot has become a staple summer event for Wise Security, with regular teams enjoying the unique break from our regular and hectic schedule of other sporting events, and we look forward to maintaining this unique and classic event for each and every summer.
