SCaN Training at Wise Security

In a proactive move to enhance their security protocols, Wise Security’s senior event management team recently completed SCaN (See, Check, and Notify) training, an essential component in detecting and responding to suspicious activities related to counter-terrorism efforts. The training, which equips participants with the skills to identify unusual behaviour and potential threats, is not only crucial in counter-terrorism measures but also proves invaluable in crime prevention.

The session, hosted by Counter Terrorism Protection Officers, saw the participation of 12 members from Wise Security’s senior event management team. Additionally, recognizing the significance of extending this knowledge across the organization, an additional 60 staff members underwent the training via an online session.

SCaN training is designed to empower security personnel with the ability to observe their surroundings keenly, assess situations for potential threats, and promptly report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities. By honing these skills, security professionals become an integral part of the broader effort to maintain safety and security in various environments, particularly in high-risk settings such as events and public gatherings.
